Langtang-Helambu Region
The
Tamang Heritage Trail takes you to verdant midlands of Nepal experiencing the beauty of this mountain region and the culture of the people who live here. The trail passes through traditional Tamang villages where life, culture, and crafts have remained unchanged since the beginning of the settlement. Warm traditional welcome hosted by the locals, their elaborate costumes, rich architecture of their mountain houses, and the ancient monasteries and places of pray add color to the experience of this trail. In addition to cultural experience, the trek also offers wilderness experience through beautiful landscapes of alpine terrain, flat meadows, and rhododendron forests
The holy Gosainkunda Lake is situated here. The animals found here are the wild dog, Himalayan red panda, musk deer, Himalayan black bear, Himalayan tahr, ghoral, serow, rhesus monkey and the common languor. This region also an important route for migrating birds. The majority of the local inhabitants here are Tamangs and Sherpas.

Day 03: Drive to Saybrubensi further Dhunche 147km 5-6 drive O/n in Lodge.
Day 04-12: Commence trek to Kengjing Gumba and Tsergo -Ri and return trek same route to Syabrubensi
Day 13: After breakfast return drive back to Kathmandu O/n hotel
