Snow Leopard Trekking
The snow leopard is a charismatic flagship species, promoting mountain biodiversity conservation. This beautiful but endangered cat is a striking symbol of the world's highest places. It is also an environmental ambassador, encouraging the establishment of Trans boundary national parks or protected areas, and an indicator of a healthy mountain ecosystem. It is a medium to large-sized cat standing about 60 cm at the shoulder, with a body tail length of 1.8-2.3 meters, and a tail almost a meter long. In this same regard the following itinerary has been set. There is no guarantee that we will for sure show you the snow leopard but it will be our for most effort to show the habitat and possibly leopard most common large prey species.
Itinerary:
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu, meet and transfer to hotel
Day 02: Sightseeing tour of Kathmandu valley with tour guide.
Day 03: Fly to Humde O/n Camp
Day 04-05: Trek to Mananag via Nhyagwal and Braga 3 days
Day 06: Rest day in Mananag
Day 07-13: Explore the Snow Leopard in the area of Thorong and Tichho lake area O/N Camp /Lodge
Day 14-16: Trek to Jomsom
Day 17: Fly to Pokhara and after hotel check in hotel and free time in the evening
Day 18: Early morning drive to Sarangkot for Sunrise views and evening flight to Kathmandu
Day 19: Free days in Kathmandu
Day 20: final departure to Germany Sightseeing tour
