revered in the Sanskrit literature as the abode of Lord Shiva the destroyer and transformer of the Hindu Triad, and his divine consort Parvati. Mt. Kailash as it’s manifestation of Mt. Meru has an important role in great churning of “Thesis Sea”. (Mahasagar Manthan) Hindus, Buddhists, the Jains and the Bons regard this extraordinary mountain as the ‘heart of the universe’.Inthe same periphery of this sacred mountain, twin lakes of Mansarovar and Rakshas Taal are situated which are supposedly a place for heavenly ablution as on it
Program: Overland Tour
Itinerary:
Day 01: Drive - Kathmandu to Zhangmu (border point) then onto Nyalam 3750m/ 12300ft -5/6 hours
Day 02: Rest Day for acclimatization Over Night at Guesthouse
Day 03: Drive to Saga (4200m) 232km / 8 hrs. Over Night at Guesthouse / Camp
Day 04: Drive to Paryang (4500m) 285 km / 8 hrs. Over Night at Guest house / Camp
Day 05: Drive to Lake Manasarovar (4000m) 298km / 9 hrs. Over night Camp
Day 06: Lake Manasarovar (4000m restday and drive to Darchen guest house
Day 07: Trek to Dirapuk (4800m) Over Night at Camp
Day 08: Trek to Zutulpuk Gompa (4790m) Over Night at Camp
Day 09-10: Back to Darchen and to Monasarovar lake & one full day Rest at the monasarovarlake O/N camp
Day 11-15: Drive back to Kathmandu via Paryang -Saga -Nyalam -zhangmu Nepal &Tibet border
Day 16-17: Free days in kathmandu
Day 18: Final departure
