Timal Trekking
Timal is one of the best trekking destination. Timal is the origin village of Tamang. Who are one of the ethnic group of Nepal known as Tamang and the village is known as Timal. The attraction on this trek is that it presents the spectacular panoramic view of the himalayan ranges from Mt. Dhaulagiri to Mt. Everest, Sailung 2950m summit. This is the only trek from where you will have a glimpse of Terai - the lowland of Nepal. We walk high up on spectacular ridges in an area inhabited by Tamangs - an indigenous Buddhists community whose religion is a fusion of Buddhist Lamaism and the Shamanist Bon culture.
Itinerary:
Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu , transfer to hotel
Day 02: Sightseeing around Kathamndu valley
Day 03: Kathmandu to Mude Bazar by bus
Day 04 : Mude Bazar to Khola Khark by walk
Day 05 : Khola Khark to Dhormba Gompa
Day 06 : Dhormba Gompa to Bag Dhunga
Day 07 : Bag Dhunga to Gurase bhanjyang
Day 08 : Gurase Bhanjyang to Bholung Village
Day 09 : Bholung village to Chapkhore
Day 10 : Chapkhore to Kottimal
Day 11 : Kottimal to Namobuddha
Day 12 : Namobuddha to Panauti and Kathmandu.
Day 13 : Kathmandu
Day 14: Back to onward destination.
