Khumbu Excursion
This trek also traces important history of the Sherpa people. They settled the region in the late 1400s or early 1500s, arriving from the eastern Tibetan province of Salmo Gang. Sherpas appears to have left their homeland and crossed the Nangpa-La pass (18,749 ft.') in to Nepal
Itinerary:
Day 01: Tour Departure to Nepal
Day 02: Arrival Kathmandu-Nagarkot Arrival in Kathmandu Meet and transfer to Nagarkot 2200m / about 30 Km / 1 Hrs drive and hotel check in the Hotel /Resort The Furt and evening time free and have dinner same hotel 2200m
Day 03:Kathmandu-Lukla-Phakding Early morning drive to Airport and Fly to Lukla 2750m and commence trek to Phakding 2625m / 3-4 hrs trek O/N Lodge
Day 04: Phakding-Monjo Excursion above Phakding and back to the Lodge
Day 5-06: Monjo Trek to Monjo 2800m and Excursion above 3000m with pack lunch and back to Lodge
Day 07: Monjo-Namche Bazzar Trek to Namche Bazzar 3400m / 4-5 Hrs
Day 08: Namche Bazzar Rest day Opserve (weekend local and tarditional Bazzar)
Day 09: Trek to Thomo 3-4 hrs O/N Lodge
Day 10: Excursion to Thame 4200m and back to Thomo
Day 11: Trek to Khumjung via Sayngbutchey Airport and Everest View Hotel O/N at Hotel Khumjung
Day12: Excursion to Khunde Ri and back to Khumjung
Day 13-14: Return trek to Lukla via Namche Bazzar 2 days
Day 15: Trek end at Lukla Airport and Overnight at Hotel/Guest House
Day16: Fly back to Kathmandu and transfer to hotel
Day 17: Free day / guide Sight seeing tour of Patan, Pashupati nath and Boudhha Nath
Day 18: Final Departure
