Shivapuri Hill
The second highest hill in the valley rim is very popular hiking area. The natural surrounding is very soothing and offers good varieties of flora & fauna. This area is also good for bird watching. The Budhist monastery of nunnery is located at the midway to the top. The breathtaking mountain views in the north and the birds' eye view of Kathmandu valley is really worth viewing from this point.
