some 20 km, amidst soothing jungle, on the foothills to the south of Kathmandu is the most important venue of Hindus for the animal sacrifices to the goddess Kali, a female deity. This place attracts numerous visitors & devotees mainly on Tuesday & on Sunday as this the auspicious day to worship this deity.
