Mila Repa Trekking
An age-old, unaffected way of life can be found in the villages of Pisang, Hunde, Ghyaru, Ngawal, Manang and Khangsar and in the valley’s many monasteries, numerous festivals, and in the hardiness of its people. It was here that the Tibetan saint Mila Repa meditated where the world’s highest lake is situated, and where endangered species like the elusive snow leopard, and the blue sheep, and hoards of yak roam. Manang’s spectacular mountain scenery, vibrant colors of nature – wild flowers, herbs, and tranquil lakes - are accessible through weekly flights to and from Hunde airport at 11,000 ft.
Itinerary:
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu, meet and transfer to hotel
Day 02: Full day Sightseeing tour to Kathmandu city with German / English spiking tour guide
Day 03: After B.fast Fly to Humde airport and hiking in and around Humde for acclimatization O/N in Lodge
Day 04-05: Trek to Braga via Ngywal
Day 06: Trek to Manang, en route Milerapa Cave
Day 07: Trek to Q-cho O/N Camp
Day 08: Trek to Khangsar Village O/N at Lodge or Camp
Day 09-10: Return trek to Humde airport.
Day 11: Return flight to Kathmandu and transfer to hotel
Day 12: Sightseeing tour to Bhaktapure /Mountain flight (option)
Day 13-14: Sightseeing and Day hiking tour of Dhulikhel / Namo Buddha and return to Kathmandu
