The Makalu Barun National park and Wildlife Reserve has been created In order
to protect the beauty of its land and the rich animal and plant Life therein. It offers more then 3,000 species of flowering plants. Wildlife includes endangered red panda, musk deer, Himalayan black bear, clouded leopard and possibly the snow leopard too. Over 400 species of birds thrive here . the majority of people living in the conservation area belongs to the Rai community.

Itinerary:
Day 01: Arrival in Katmandu meet and transfer to hotel
Day 02: After breakfast , Sightseeing tour in Katmandu valley
Day 03: Fly to Tumlingtar in the afternoon and O/n hotel/Camp
Day 04-10 : Commence trekking-Makalu Base Camp 5000m
Day 11-18: Return trek to Tumlingtar via same route.
Day 19: Fly back to Kathmandu
Day 20: Free and leisure in Katmandu O/n hotel
Day 22: Final departure

Day 10-11: Khongma Dara 3800m Ne kharka 4150 m
Day 12-13: Makalu Base Camp 5000m Ascent Gayltsen -Ri 5750m
Day 14-15: Reserve day
Day 16-18: Trek to Baruntse Base Camp
Day 19-21: Trek to Mera Base Camp
Day 22-23: Mera High Camp 5800m and Summit
Day 24-27: Trek to Lukla
Day 28: Fly back to Kathmandu and transfer to hotel
